 Birding Trips

ECAS helps to organize many field trips in Central Oregon.  This is a great chance to see the fantastic birds, meeting other people, learn identification skills and find some of the best birding locations in the area.

ECAS hosts Field trips from March – November every year.  These are lead by knowledgeable locals and they are extremely casual and fun.  Follow this [link] for more information and an upcoming schedule.

ECAS hosts a Wednesday Morning Birders group throughout the year.  The group decides where they would like to go and generally they last for a half day.  Follow this [link] for more information and an upcoming schedule.

ECAS hosts a Birding by Ear Class each spring in Bend.  Dave Tracey leads a group each week for a couple of hours in the morning to follow the migrants as they arrive and learn their identification by both voice and sight.  Follow this [link] for more information and an upcoming schedule.

As part of a fundraiser, ECAS is offering personal, guided birding trips in Central Oregon led by local experts.  Reserve your trip and customize your day to meet your birding needs  ....[details].

Other opportunities that arise at different times of the year are the North American Migration Counts and the Christmas Bird Counts and Birding festivals.  Keep an eye on this page for more info.
