JoAnne is a Central Oregon transplant from the Willamette Valley. She is a Physical Therapist specializing in people with neurological disorders, working at St. Charles Medical Center. JoAnne began "looking" for birds after accompanying Judy Meredith and Gary Clausen to the Millicun Sage Grouse Lek one very early morning. She enjoys running, birding while running, and enjoying the new birds she see's while traveling to new areas of Oregon and the United States. She is on a sharp learning curve, greatly appreciating the opportunities to bird with mentors at the ECBC and during activities such as field trips and migratory bird counts. JoAnne jointed the board of ECBC in 2007, and hopes to remain active as this organization continues to grow.
