 Bird-A-Fun

As you are probably aware, East Cascades Audubon Society is a nonprofit organization that propagates an appreciation for the bird world.  We are a local organization, specializing in Central Oregon ornithology with only a few projects that reach beyond our local boundaries.  We gather local data and participate in projects that we feel will help protect local bird populations.

Last year we initiated Bird-A-Fun to raise money for environmental education program geared towards children.  Teams combined to observe more than 180 species, and raised over $1500 for this worthwhile ECAS project.

This year, we would like to  continue support of this important cause with another Bird-A-Fun!

Teams will spend one day (up to 24 hours) anytime between mid May until the end of July  and observe as many bird species as possible (current record is 175).  For  each species found, you can make a donation ($0.05, $0.10, $1.00, etc. or you can donate a flat amount of your choice. .

Please consider donating to this important project by using this form .... [download]
